MODEL PENGELOLAAN KAWASAN PESISIR UNTUK KEGIATAN PENANGKAPAN DAN BUDIDAYA LAUT DI PULAU PANJANG KABUPATEN SERANG BANTEN
ABSTRACT: Panjang Island has
potential coastal area for marine culture and capture fisheries development. It
is located at marine traffic area and industries that threaten to environment
quality, marine culture and capture fisheries. The aim of this study is to
build a model of coastal management for marine culture and capture fisheries in
Panjang Island. This research use survey method and geographic information system.
The result showed fishing ground zone of lift net and located outside of marine
culture zone. Meanwhile, boat seine fishing ground has long distance from
coastal. The marine culture zone is about 265 ha and located at south and east
of island. The separation of marine culture and capture fisheries is very
important aspect to develop and realize the sustainable of coastal management
in Panjang Island.
