PENGARUH AIR PERASAN DAUN PEPAYA TERHADAP EFISIENSI PAKAN DAN PERTUMBUHAN IKAN LELE SANGKURIANG Clarias sp.
ABSTRACT: The experiment aims
to knowthe effect of papaya leaf juice mixed toartificial feedon feed
efficiency and growth of sangkuriang catfish (Clarias sp.).The experiment was
done for 30 days. Variables examined were artificial feed efficiency, weight
and longgrowth.The experiment used acompletely randomized design with 4treatments
and 3 replicates. Treatment A(100% artificial feed:0% juice of papaya leaf),
treatment B(80% artificial feed: 20% juice of papaya leaf), treatmentC(60%
artificial feed: 40% juice of papaya leaf), and treatment D(40% artificial
feed: 60% juice of papaya leaf). Data were statistically analyzed using the
software Microsoft Excel 2013. Results showed juice of papaya leaf no
significant effect on the artificial feed efficiency but significant effect on
length and weight growth but the greater number ofthe juice of papaya leaf was
not followed an increase the length and weight growth of fish.The highest value
to lowest inlength andweightgrowthof fish were treatment A, B, CandD. Based
onthe results ofthis experiment can be concluded that mixingthe papaya leaf
juice onartificial feed did not increase feed efficiency and growth sangkuriang
catfish (Clarias sp.).
