HUBUNGAN PANJANG BERAT, KEPADATAN RELATIF DAN POLA PENYEBARAN KETAM KELAPA (Birgus latro) DI KEPULAUAN MARATUA KECAMATAN MARATUA KABUPATEN BERAU
ABSTRACT: These study aims to
know the result of capture reap coconut in Maratua Island, maratua, berau. This
Study conducted in Maratua Island, maratua, berau during one month from 10 May
until 10 June 2014. During the study, 46 tails are identified with a total
weight of 22.788 grams. Relations weight and carapace coconut crabs width
negative allometric. Negative allometric is a growth pattern which states that
the weight gain is slower than the growth carapace. The value of the correlation
coefficient (r) of the male crabs and female are 0.98 and 0.95, which means
showing similarities in width and weight gain. The relative density of the
coconut crabs found on stasiun I of 0217%, 0195% of stations II, station III
at%, 0.304% and 0.282% for the fourth station. Overall pattern spreads of
coconut crabs in Maratua Islands are reguler. Sex ratio of male and female sex coconut
crabs in Maratua Islands is significantly different (significantly) with the
ratio of 6: 4.
