IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN TRAFFIC DAN BANDWIDTH INTERNET DENGAN IPCOP
Abstract: As the number of
Internet users and bandwidth that is available is also limited and expensive.
Needed a mechanism for setting the bandwidth of the Internet. It is intended
that all Internet users can make access to the Internet with limited bandwidh
One alternative is bandwidth setting using IPCop as traffic management
tools and Internet bandwidth. With IPCop, administrators facilitated in doing
bandwidth setting and monitoring of traffic and bandwidth usage internet
through web media.
By regulating the division of bandwidth as needed, is expected to
optimize the use of this Internet bandwidth. In tests conducted on two major
networks in the Polytechnic Telkom is a public network, and network staff. From
the test results, proved that the IPCop successfully optimize and limit the
bandwidth to the client. Evidenced by the obtained throughput sesuainya client
with the throughput is set to IPCop
