PENGARUH RASIO AGREGAT SEMEN DAN FAKTOR AIR SEMEN TERHADAP KUAT TEKAN DAN POROSITAS BETON POROUS
ABSTRACT: Porous concrete is a
special type of concrete with a high porosity that allows water from
precipitation and other sources to pass through it, thereby reducing runoff and
recharging ground water levels. Compressive strength of porous concrete is
lower than the conventional normal weight concrete due to increased porosity.
Factors that influence compressive strength and porosity of the porous concrete
are aggregate / cement ratio and water cement ratio (wcr), so important to investigate
the effect of each factors. Coarse aggregate used in this study are crushed
stone (split) with a density 1466 kg/m3. Coarse aggregate-cement weight ratio
used in this study were: 3,5; 4,0; 4,5; and 5,0, the water-cement ratio (wcr)
0,25 and 0,30. Chemical admixtures used are SicaCim Concrete Additive, with a
dose 7.5 ml / kg of cement. The samples used in this research were concretes
cylinder 150 mm x 300 mm. There were 3 specimens of each variation and the
total of specimens were 24. Curing concrete test specimens made by soaking the
specimen in the curing box. Compressive strength and porosity of porous
concrete testing was carried out after 28 days age. From these results it can
be concluded that increase of aggregate / cement ratio of porous concrete
result: decreased compressive strength, increased porosity, and decreased
density. Compressive strength of porous concrete with water cement ratio (wcr)
0.25 lower than 0.30.
