SINTESIS SENYAWA AURIVILLIUS LAPIS EMPAT, SrBi4-xLaxTi4O15 DENGAN METODE HIDROTERMAL
Abstract: Aurivillius
phases are metal
oxide type compound
with general formula
[Bi2O2]2+[An-1BnO3n+1]2-. Four-layers
Aurivillius phases, SrBi4-xLaxTi4O15 with x =
0.5 and 1
have been synthesized
by hydrothermal method using
NaOH 3 M
as mineralizer at
temperature 240oC for
72 hours.. The products were characterized by X-ray
diffraction (XRD) and SEM. All X-ray diffraction data were refined by Le Bail
technique using Rietica program. The results showed that the samples formed four-layers
Aurivillius phase, mixture with the perovskite phase. Increasing amount of La3+
in the sample tends to increase the perovskite phase. The morphology of the
samples was analyzed by SEM and showed
plates typical compounds of Aurivillius phase.
