Abstract: Organic carbon
content Analysis of
biomaterials by Incineration
is a method
to determine the content of organic carbon from natural
materials. In this work, we have used such method where good cotton
and glucose (C6H12O6)
were as sampler.
Yield of glucose
combustion is 9.7%
with conversion factor
10.3 while its
was 3.8 cotton
combustion. In that
process, cotton was
found to be better than the
glucose for by 2.7 even though not all C of glukosa is converted to CO2 which was then
absorbed by NaOH.
There are also
some of C that reacts
with the limited
½O2 to produce CO.
