SINTESIS DAN KARAKTERISASI NANOKRISTAL TiO2-SiO2/KITOSAN: EFEK TEMPERATUR KALSINASI DAN SURFAKTAN CTABr

Abstract: TiO2-SiO2/chitosancompoundhas  been  syntesized  by  using  sol-gel  method.  The  aim  of  this research  is  to  carry  out  some  synthesis  modification  to  get  TiO2-SiO2/chitosan.  Variation  of calcinations temperature of 400 and 500oCwere examined to optimaze the reaction. Some result of  characterization  have  indicated  that  the  morphology  of  compound  changed  during  the proces. XRD pattern showed that the highest intensity found in the composite is anatase. It was also found that the crystalinity TiO2-SiO2influenced by CTABr and chitosan.  Scanning Electron Microscopy  (SEM)  images  showed  that  the  particle  of  composite  homogenously  distributed with pored surface. Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrum showed that there are Ti-O-Si , Ti-O-Ti, and Si-O-Si interaction investigated around 4000-400 cm-1.
