SINTESIS DAN KARAKTERISASI KATALIS Cu(II) YANG DIAMOBILISASI PADA SILIKA MODIFIKASI
Abstract: This research has
been successfully carried out the synthesis of the Copper (II) Catalyst Amobilized on
a modified Silica
and applied to
the transesterification reaction
of vegetable oil. Silica activated at a temperature of 200°C and then
modified with aniline and BF3 in toluene solvent at room temperature. Cu (II)
immobilized on silica modified by means of refluxing at 70°C for 2 hours.
amobilat produced were characterized by FT-IR,
NL-PSA, SEM-EDX, AAS,
and GC-MS. Analysis
of FT-IR spectra
showed the success of
the silica modification
and immobilization process
is characterized by the
appearance of a
new absorption band
and the shift
of absorption band.
From the analysis of
NL-PSA, obtained Amobilat
smaller particle size
when compared to the
pure silica and
silica modification. The
results of SEM-EDX,
showed that after immobilization provide
a homogeneous surface
morphology and particle
size of the catalyst
immobilization smaller than
the pure silica
and silica modification.
From the AAS analysis,
it is known
that loading and
leaching of metal
values obtained were 5.37% and 7.82%.
