DEGRADASI TOLUIDINE BLUE SECARA SONOLISIS, FOTOLISIS, DAN OZONOLISIS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN KATALIS ZnO/ZEOLIT
Abstract: Degradation of
Toluidine Blue with
the addition of
ZnO/Zeolit had been
carried out by Sonolysis,
Photolysis and Ozonolysis.
The degraded solution
measured using Spectrophotometer UV-Vis
and HPLC at a wavelength
of 612 nm.
It was found
that for, 100 minutes
sonolysis of 12
mg/L Toluidine Blue
using ultrasonic radiation
with frequency of 50 kHz, at
temperature 30°C and
with the addition
of 4.0 mg
ZnO/Zeolit the compound
was decomposed to 91.2%. In other case, photolysis method using UV light
irradiation (λ=365 nm) it was
result 96.4% degradation
in the same
duration process. Ozonolysis
method in the degradation of
Toluidine blue was
faster than the
one with photolysis
and sonolysis. In
HPLC analysis showed that the peak of the chromatogram of Toluidine blue
decrease clearly.
