PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK PERUSAHAAN, REPUTASI UNDERWRITER DAN REPUTASI AUDITOR TERHADAP TINGKAT UNDERPRICING
Abstract: This
study aimed to
examine the effect
of firm characteristics (proxied
by profitability, firm
size, firm age,
the allocation of IPO funds for investment and industry types),
underwriter reputation and auditor
reputation on the
level of underpricing.
The samples in this
study were 81
companies that conduct
an IPO in 2009-2013.
Sampling was purposive
sampling method. T
statistical test results showed
that the auditor
reputation negatively affect
the level of underpricing.
Variables representing firm
characteristics (profitability,
size, age, allocation
of IPO proceeds
for investment, industry type)
and underwriter reputation
does not affect the level of underpricing.
