PENGARUH BEBAN KERJA TERHADAP STRES KERJA DAN DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN

Abstract:  Human  resources  are  the  most  important  asset  that should be owned by company. For that we need firm handling to be done  so  that  they  can  be  spared  the  stress  that  will  affect  their performance.  Workload  that  the  company  isn’t  in  accordance  with the  employee's  ability  will  also  affect  the  performance.  This  study uses  a  quantitative  approach.  The  type  of  research  conducted  is causality  with  variable  workload  as  the  independent  variable. Variable job stress and performance as the dependent variable. The technique  of  sampling  using  probability  sampling  with  simple random sampling with  sample of  51 full-time employees production department  PT  Apie  Indo  Karunia  The  analytical  method  used  was Partial  Least  Square  (PLS)  with  Smart  PLS  software.  The  results showed  1)  there  is  a  positive  and  significant  effect  between workload with job stress, 2) workload and performance a significant negative effect, 3) job stress and performance a significant negative effect.
