PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK (PMR) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA SMP NEGERI 1 SUNGAI PENUH
Abstract: The problems of ths
research was whether or not the students’ ability of solving problem in math by
using realistic educational approach was better than the students’ ability of
solving problem in math through conventional learning at VIII grade of SMPN 1
Sungai Penuh. The aim of the research was to know the students’ ability of
solving problem in math by using realistic educational approach was better than
the students’ ability of solving problem in math through conventional learning.
This research was experiment. The population was the students at VIII grade of
SMPN 1 Sungai Penuh academic year 2013/2014. To choose the sample, it was done
by satrurasion sampling. It was taken two classes, they were VIII C as
experimental class and VIII D as control class.
