PENGARUH LEADERSHIP TERHADAP KINERJARUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH Dr. SOEGIRI LAMONGAN

ABSTRACT: A hospital is successful if the number of patient visits has increased from the previous year. One factors that  lead  to improved patient  visit  is  the hospital performance. Hospital  performance can  be judged  from the leadership.  This  study  was  conducted  to  determine  the  effect  of  leadership  on  hospital  performance  by  the employee perceptions based on the factors of motivation and ability factors.The experiment was conducted with cross-sectional design using a quantitative approach. Interviews were conducted at 84 employees. The selection of respondents using stratified random sampling technique. Depth interviews were conducted to obtain a more in-depth information about the variables under study. The independent variables were the dependent variables are leadership and performance. Test the effect by using bivariate logistic regression with α = 0.05 was obtained p = 0.000 means that there was the influence of motivational factors on hospital performance. On Ability factors was obtained p = 0.000, showed that there was an influence of ability factors on hospital performance and  from the leadership  factors  was  obtained  p=  0.000  means  that  there  was  an  influence  of  leadership  on  hospital performance.The  conclusion  of  this  study  showed  that  the  good  leadership  could  improve  the  hospital performance, and with less leadership would reduce the hospital performance.
