HUBUNGAN KEPATUHAN MENJALANI HEMODIALISA DENGAN QUALITY OF LIFE PASIEN CHRONIC KIDNEY DISEASE DI RUANG HEMODIALISA RUMKITAL Dr. RAMELAN SURABAYA
ABSTRACT: Compliance can
affect health status,
extend life expectancy
and affect social relations
change, so that
it can affect
the quality of
life in patients
with chronic kidney disease.
This study aims
to determine the
relationship of compliance undergoing
hemodialysis quality of
life of patients
with chronic kidney disease in
Hemodialysis room Rumkital Dr. Ramelan Surabaya. This
study design using
correlational. The independent
variables were undergoing
hemodialysis and variable compliance depedent are quality of life of patients
chronic kidney disease. The sample
was 96 patients with chronic kidney disease, using
purposive sampling, this
research instrument using
the WHO-BREEF questionnaire
and observation sheet.
Analysis of data
using Chisquare with significance
p <0.05.
Results showed the
majority of patients
with chronic kidney
disease undergoing hemodialysis obedient, most patients with chronic
kidney disease have a high quality
of life and
their relationships undergo
hemodialysis compliance with the
quality of life
of patients chonic
kidney disease In
Space Hemodilisa Rumkiital Dr.
Ramelan Surabaya (p = 0.000 <α 0.05).
Nurses should develop
knowledge relating to
hemodialysis in order
to provide knowledge about
compliance undergoing hemodialysis
quality of life
of patients with chronic
kidney disease. In
addition to other
researchers could be further study in managing patients with
hemodialysis therapy.
