ABSTRACT: Modern management
of Parkinson's disease
(PD) aims to
control symptoms, reduce disability
and improve quality
of life. Music
therapy and movement exercises
act as a stimulus to get the motor and emotional responses by combining
movement and sensory stimulation is also a motion exercises to reduce stiffness
and improve coordination. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of
music therapy and
movement exercises to
coordinate movement in
Parkinson's patients in Kramatjegu village.
This study design sample number 15 samples were selected by probability sampling methods
One-group pre-post test
design. The research
instrument used questionnaire sheet
and test sheet
Sullivan O 'Smith.
Data were analyzed
using statistical test Paired
Samples T test.
Results Paired Samples

value = 0.001 <α = 0.05,
statistically significant H0 was the effect of music therapy and movement exercises
to coordinate movement
in Parkinson's patients
in Kramatjegu village.
The implication of
this research is
the provision of
music therapy and movement exercises for three weeks could
improve motor coordination in people with
Parkinson's, so it
can be used
as a therapeutic
alternative to drugs
and surgery as well
as giving patients
other options to
improve the ability
to coordinate movement.
