EFEKTIFITAS PENAMBAHAN PASIR SEMEN DAN STABILIZER PADA STABILISASI TANAH
ABTRACT: Soil compaction,
sand addition, and
chemical stabilization using
cement are a
method often used
in stabilization of high
plasticity soil. Stabilizers
are used to
maximize the results
of the soil-cement stabilization. This study
contains stabilization of
high plasticity silt
with the addition
of sand, cement,
stabilizer and combination of all
three. The addition of sand is 20%, 40% and 60%, whereas the addition of cement
is 4%, 8% and 12%. The results showed the addition of sand to the soil-cement
stabilization increases the value of the unconfined compressive strength soil
and more effectively compared to the addition of stabilizer. however the
addition of sand to the soil does not improve the unconfined compressive
strength.
