PROGRAM CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) PT SEMEN INDONESIA Tbk DAN DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP KEBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT
Abstract: One of the strategic
effort for the alleviating poverty in Indonesia is to promote the role of
society empowerment in the companies for the society empowerent. Indonesian
cement company is chosen as a research target, cause of obstain an impressive
Social Report Award related to the program. The research is aimed to obstain a
description about characteristic, educative impact, and the support or
brominated factor of CSR program of Indonesia Cement company. The research
design which is used is case study. The research result shows that CSR program
of Indonesia Cement Company was implemented based on the valid constitution
regulation which are including environment fields through the reboisation
program, Social fields that consist of education sector with granting
scholarships, vocational educations, healthy sector through the extension, free
medical treatment and economy field through providing the capital, business
trainning and mentoring. However, the impact of educative program for the
educated citizen is optimal.
