PERUBAHAN KEBIJAKAN PEMERINTAH JEPANG TERHADAP PROTOKOLKYOTO
Abstract: This study aims to
explain Japan's stance on the Kyoto Protocol first commitment as well as the
reason the Japanese government change its policy toward the Kyoto Protocol .
This type of research is explanatory research, which described the Japanese
stance on the Kyoto Protocol first commitment as well as the factors that
influence the Japanese in policy changes . The data presented is secondary data
obtained through a literature review and literature such as books, internet,
and others. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis
techniques.
The results showed that Japan commit the first Kyoto Protocol commitment,
but it is known that the Japanese policy changes influenced the Japanese
inability to meet emission targets 6%. Due to meet the targets required a lot
of funds from the national budget of Japan. Another thing that affects the
effectiveness of Japan among other things that the agreement could not bind
other countries to undertake emission reduction such as Japan
