PERAN MDF (MULTI DONOR FUND) DALAM PENGELOLAAN DANA REKONTRUKSI DAN PEMULIHAN PEREKONOMIAN DI ACEH PASCA TSUNAMI TAHUN 2004
Abstract: This study aims to
determine how the role of MDF tsunami began the period of 2005 to
2009 in the
tsunami recovery process.
The study was a descriptive analytic study,
which provides an
overview and explains
the role of
MDF in managing grants
to rebuild Aceh
and Nias reconstruction and
economic recovery in post-tsunami.The result is Indonesia inflation
tsunami that hit Aceh and Nias post-tsunami.
In the process
of rehabilitation of
Indonesia held the rehabilitation and
reconstruction in Banda
Aceh that involve
various stakeholders,
including international donors,
non-government organizations (NGOs)
from both within and outside the country, as well as citizens in general. And
then, the Indonesian government proposed to the World Bank to establish a Multi
Donor Fund (MDF)
to implement and
manage the funds
in the planning process of
rehabilitation and reconstruction in Banda Aceh and Nias. MDF in
Indonesia in managing
the grant of
various countries and international organizations to strengthen
diplomatic relations between states in the
international community and
prevent the flow
of funds that
do not transparent. Diplomatic
support from donors in the process of the development of Aceh
back in the
imaging benefit from
each donor. This
is in accordance with the purpose of diplomacy is
to aid disaster relief other countries affected by the disaster,
and reflects a
positive image of
a country in
the international community,
attract foreign tourists, investors and establish cooperation in other respects. and
policies made by the government
such as providing
rapid emergency response in
the areas affected,
and ensure aid
funds channeled effectively and
transparently, as well as support for infrastructure polic.
