Abstract: The purpose
of this research
is to improve
students activity and
learning achievement for the Pythagorean theorem subject in VIII-B
SMP Negeri 3 Panarukan. This study uses
a method called Aptitude Treatment
Interaction (ATI). This research
is Classroom Action Research
(CAR) that use
two cycles of
learning, there are
two meetings in each
cycle. Data collection
methods used in
this study is
documentation, observation, tests and
interviews. The data analyzed is teacher activity, students
activity and student learning
achievement. Based on
the analysis of
student learning achievement, it
can be concluded that the results of the
final test cycle II was increased compared
to the first
cycle of learning,
while the teacher
and student activity significantly increased from the
first meeting to the fourth meeting
