ANALISIS PERMASALAHAN DAN KEBUTUHAN GURU SMA NEGERI DAERAH TERPENCIL DALAM RANGKA IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM TINGKAT SATUAN PENDIDIKAN (KTSP) DI PROPINSI JAMBI
Abstract: Analysis of teachers
needs and problems to implemented curriculum (KTSP) in the Public High Schools
at the rural area in Jambi Province. The purpose of the research was to find the
problems and the teachers needs to implemented curriculum (KTSP) of the Public
High Schools at rural area in Jambi Province and determine some alternatives
solution. The eight schools sample were selected. The data were collected
through questionaires and interviews. The result of analysis showed that the
teachers problems to implemented curriculum were low competence teachers on academics,
teaching skills, educations degree, trainning, insentives and salaries,
facilities, schools climate, schools leadership, and parents contributeds. The
teachers need were curriculum socialisation, teachers training, motivation,
teaching facilities, good schools climate, incentives and salaries, and times
to study duration.
