PENGARUH KEBIJAKAN MONETER DAN FISKAL TERHADAP LAJU INFLASI DI INDONESIA, TAHUN 1970-2013
ABSTRACT: This study aims to
analyze the impact of monetary policy and fiscal policy on inflation in
Indonesia. Monetary policy is conducted by setting the money supply, while
fiscal policy is done through taxes and government spending. The studied period
is of 1970-2013 and used autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model. The results indicate that money supply
has positive impact and significant on inflation in Indonesia. Tax has negative
impact, but not significant on inflation in Indonesia. Government spending has
positive impact and significant on inflation in Indonesia. This research recommend
that to control inflation rate in Indonesia is preferably through money supply
and government spending.
