PENGARUH BIAYA PRODUKSI LISTRIK TERHADAP PENETAPAN TARIF DASAR LISTRIK PADA PT PLN (PERSERO)
ABSTRACT: PT PLN (Persero) is
one of the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), which is engaged in the electricity
industry in Indonesia. The company
plays an important
role in supporting economic progress in Indonesia, where the presence of
electricity has become a necessity of society
and industries. PT.
PLN (Persero) has
rules in the electricity tariff stipulated in Electricity Basic Tariff
or Tarif Dasar Listrik (TDL) that set in Perpres No. 8 Tahun 2011where electric
rates vary by class of cost-divided into 8 groups, namely: households; social services;
business; industrial, government offices and street lighting;
traction; bulk; and
special services. The research
objective is to analyze the effect of the cost of electricity production in
electricity tariffs in PT PLN (Persero) for households and industry class in
the period of analysis between 2001 and 2011. Research result showed
that the cost
of electricity purchased affect electricity tariffs. While
other costs such as fuel and lubricant costs, maintenance costs, personnel
costs, depreciation costs and the other product cost do not have significant
effect on the determination Electricity Basic Tariff.
