ADOPSI TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI PADA USAHA MIKRO, KECIL, DAN MENENGAH DI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA
ABSTRACT: Purpose of this
study is to analyze the adoption of Information Technology (IT) in Small,
Micro, and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Yogyakarta. Two hundred and fourty five
(245) SMEs are selected as samples in five business sectors,
namely food, furniture, electronics, clothing, and
handicrafts. The analysis uses descriptive methods to analyze the motivation of
SMEs and to identify contrain factors in IT adoption for their business. The
study found that most of SMEs have already adopted IT that are motivated by the
IT benefits for their business. High cost and low return on IT’s investment are
the bigest constraints for the SMEs in IT adoption
