PENGARUH PEMBERIAN TEPUNG KUNYIT (Curcuma domestica) DAN TEPUNG DAUN SELIGI (Phyllanthus buxifolius) DALAM PAKAN TERHADAP PERFORMANS AYAM BROILER JANTAN
ABSTRACT: This study
aimed to combine
the two types of
herbs, turmeric and seligi leaves in the form of powder added to the basal feed
broiler chickens to improve that
performance. Turmeric powder
and seligi leaves
powder given to
broiler chickens with different
concentrations. Researchers used
25 broiler chickens, which is divided into five
replications and five treatments. Treatment is divided into P0 as a control,
basal feed P1 + 1% TK + 1% TDS, P2 basal feed + 2% TK+ 2% TDS, P3
basal feed +
3% TK +
3% TDS and
P4 basal feed
+ 4% TK
+ 4% TDS. Given feed additive when broilers aged
four to five weeks. The results showed a significant difference
(p <0.05) between
P0 to P1,
P2, P3 and P4. P0
indicates normal performance of
broiler chickens, while
P1, P2, P3
and P4 showed
a decrease in body
weight and feed
intake and feed
conversion increase. Further research is needed in the provision
of appropriate additional feed concentrations to obtain desired performance of
broiler chickens.
