FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PEMANFAATAN PERTOLONGAN PERSALINAN OLEH TENAGA KESEHATAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS BAREBBO KABUPATEN BONE
Abstract: The maternal
mortality rate (MMR) is still high in Indonesia. To reduce the MMR, the
midwives must help the mother during delivering baby-birth. The objective is to
identify factors that influence the accessto health worker during delivering
baby-birth in Barebbo health centre,Bone regency. This study is a quantitative
study with cross sectional design.The sample is 75 women who gave birth from
Januari to November 2013 which is obtained by proportionate stratified random
sampling. The result shows that there are relationship between the level of
education (p=0,008),
occupation(p=0,000), family income (p=0,003), attitude toward health
care(p=0,000), and the perceived health need by the pregnancy mother (p=0,000),
with the access to health worker during delivering baby birth. Whereas
age(p=0,368), ownership of health insurance(p=0,412), the distance to health
facility (p=0,079), and the travel time to health facility (p=0,088), have no
relationship with the access to health worker during delivering baby-birth. The
recommendation is that the health center must provide information on the
importance of delivering baby-birth by the health worker. The midwives must be
ready 24 hours to help the process of delivering baby-birth, though some of the
midwives reside outside of their coverage area.
