TEKNIK DISKUSI BUZZ GROUP UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERILAKU ASERTIF ANTAR SEBAYA PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VIII MTs NEGERI KARANGANYAR TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015
ABSTRACT: Assertive behavior
among peer is an ability to communicate, honesty, openness feelings and
thoughts in a positive and direct yet maintain dignity and respect or respect
for others so as not to cause a negative response from others. Learners who
have low assertive behavior among peer can be improved using techniques buzz
group discussion because in the process of discussion buzz group interaction
process occurs between two or more members of the group involved, exchange
ideas, experiences and information in an honest, open and candid. The
interaction process encourages learners to develop feelings, thoughts,
perceptions, insights and attitudes that can support inter-peer capabilities
behave assertively.
The purpose of this research is to improve assertive behavior among peer students
of class VIII MTs Karanganyar 2014/2015 academic year through the buzz group
discussion technique.
This study is action research guidance and counseling (PTBK). The
experiment was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning
(planning), action (action), observation (observation) and reflection
(reflecting). The subjects were students of class VIII MTs Karanganyar which
amounted to 12 people. Source of data derived from BK teachers, subject
teachers and learners. Data collection techniques with questionnaires and
observations. The validity of the data using data triangulation techniques and
methods. Data analysis using analytical techniques percentage of DL Godwin and
T. J Coates and clinical analysis. Measures used in this study is the buzz
group discussion technique that is giving guidance services group that carried
out by discussing a theme related to assertive behavior.
The results showed that the buzz group discussion technique can improve
assertive behavior among peer of pre-action to the action first cycle and the
second cycle. The increase that occurred in the first cycle of 30.8% showed
significant positive results for the following indicators of success of 50%. In
the second cycle showed an increase of 55.59%, the result can be interpreted
that the buzz group discussion technique effective for improving the inter-peer
assertive behavior.
