PELATIHAN EFIKASI DIRI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS IX SMP AL ISLAM 1 SURAKARTA TAHUN AJARAN 2014/ 2015
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this
study is to examine the effectiveness of self-efficacy training to increase the
learning motivation of the grade IX students of
SMP Al Islam 1 Surakarta of the academic year 2014/2015.
This study uses an experimental research with Quasi-Experimental Design
by the type Nonequivalent control group design. The subject of the research is
the ninth grade students of SMP Al Islam 1 Surakarta of the eacademic year
2014/201, amounted to 66 learners. Source of the data derives from the primary data
which uses the learning motivation
questionnaire and self-efficacy questionnaire instrument. Analysis of
the data uses the formula of Independent Sample T Test and Paired Sample T Test
with SPSS Statistics 17.
The result of this study indicates that there is a significant difference
on the learning motivation of experiment
group before and after the self-efficacy training is given, with t count> t
table is 4,788>2,037 (with significance 0,000<0,05). The result also
indicates that there is significant difference on the self-efficacy of the
experiment group before and after the self-efficacy training is given, with t
count> t table is 7,568>2,037 (with significance 0,000<0,05), that there is significant difference
on the learning motivation of experiment
group and control group with t count> t table is 3,653>1,998 (with
significance 0,001 < 0,05), but there is no difference on the learning
motivation of the control group with t
count < t table is 1,108 < 2,037 (with significance 0,276 > 0,05). The
experiment group which is given treatment in the form of self-efficacy training
an increase in self efficacy from 108.78 to 121.78 or 12%, followed by an
increase in learning motivation from 129.09 into140.84 or 10%, while the
control group which is not given the treatment of self-efficacy training shows
no significant change in the motivation to learn, from 129.94 becomes 127.72.
Based on this research it can be concluded that the self-efficacy
training effectively increases the learning motivation of the grade IX students
of SMP Al Islam1 Surakarta of the academic year 2014/2015.
