LAYANAN INFORMASI JENIS PEKERJAAN MELALUI MEDIA GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN WAWASAN KARIR (Penelitian pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN 4 Wonogiri Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014)
ABSTRACT: The aims of this
research it to know the effectiveness of job information service through
picture media to increase student’s career knowledge on SDN IV Wonogiri in
academic years 2013-2014.
This research in an experimental research that using Quasi Experimental
Non Equivalent Control Group Design. This research use two groups, experiment
group and control group. Both group given same pretest, treatment, posttest, so
the result can be compared.
The treatment is giving job information service through picture media.
The treatment is given four times during the research. The population is the
four grade students of the SDN IV Wonogiri, using random sampling method. The
technique collecting data using questionnaire with criteria calculated r > r
table. Questionnaire validity test shows 61 valid items. And analysis using
SPSS Statistics 17.0 using independent Samples T Test.
Based on group’s data analysis between experiment group and control
group, job information service through picture media is effective to increase
student’s career knowledge. It’s concluded from thitung 6,428 > ttabel 2,086 with signification value 0,000 <
0,05, so Ho rejected and Ha accepted. It means there is a different career
knowledge between group that given treatment and not.
The conclusion of this research, job information service through picture
media is effective to increase student’s career knowledge on the fourth grade
students of the SDN IV Wonogiri in academic years 2013-2014.
