HUBUNGAN ANTARA PERSEPSI TENTANG KEMAMPUAN GURU MENGELOLA KELAS DAN KREATIVITAS DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA BIDANG STUDI SEJARAH KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 2 SURAKARTA TAHUN AJARAN 2014/2015
Abstract: This study belongs
to quantitative descriptive research using statistical analysis. The population
of the research is all eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta. The
samples are 64 students taken by using cluster random sampling. The instruments
used to collect the data were questionnaire and documentation. The previous
questionnaire had been tried out to check the validity and the reliability. The
techniques which were used to analyze the data were Multiple Regression
Correlation, t-test, F-test, R2 test, and relative and effective contribution.
The result of data analysis shows that there is a linier regression
equation as follow Y = 0,219 + 0,016X1 + 0,011X2 . The equation shows that
there is a positive correlation between teacher’s ability in managing class and
creativity. The conclusions of the research are: 1) the perception that
teacher’s ability in managing class has positive influence to the students’
achievement in history is accepted. It is according to the analysis of multiple
regression of F-test, which Fcount >
Ftable; 64,811 > 3,15 and the level of significance is lower than 0.05
(0.0002); 2) there is a positive correlation between creativity and students’
achievement in history. It is based on multiple regression analysis (t-test) in
which tcount > ttabel; 5,588 > 2,000 and the level of significance <
0,05 (0,000).
It has relative contribution 40% and effective contribution 27,2%; 3)
there is a positive correlation between perception of teacher’s ability in
managing class and students‘ achievement in history. It is according to
multiple regression analysis in which tcount > ttable, 7,085 > 2,000 and
the value of significance is lower than
0,05, that is 0,000. It also has relative contribution 60% and 40.8% for
effective distribution; 4) The coefficient determination (R2) which is 0.68
shows that the percentage of the perception of teacher’s ability in managing
class towards students’ achievement in history of eleventh grade students of
SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta in the academic year of 2014/2015 is 68% and the rest is
influenced by other factors.
