BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK DENGAN TEKNIK PERMAINAN SIMULASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN SOSIAL PESERTA DIDIK KELAS VII SMPN 1 MATESIH TAHUN AJARAN 2013/2014
ABSTRACT: The purpose of this
study is to determine the group guidance with simulation game technique to
improve student social skill. This research was conducted in seven grade
students of SMPN 1 Matesih Academic Year 2013/2014.
This research is experimental research design using Quasi Experimental
Non Equivalent Control Group Design, two groups each of which acts as an
experimental group and control group, by conferral a pretest in both groups,
conferral of treatment in the experimental group, and ends with conferral
posttest in both groups in order to compare the results of both groups.
The conferral of group guidance with simulation game thecnique performed
four meetings. The population is seven grade student of SMPN 1 Matesih, the
conferral of subjec using purposive random sampling. The technique of
collecting data using questionnaires with criteria r count > r table. The
results of the validity test questionnaire pointed out that there are 50 valid
items. Data analysis using SPSS Statistics 16.0 with technique independent
Samples T Test.
Based on data analysis between the experimental group and the control
group can be seen that the group guidance with simulation game thecnique
effectively improve students social skill. This evident is from t count 3,286
> t table 2,080 with a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05, then Ho is
rejected and Ha accepted. Thus, this hypothesis is accepted, which means there
is a significant difference in social skill between experimental group and the
control group.
The conclusions of this research is group guidance with simulation game
thecnique effectively improve students’ social skill of seven grade SMPN 1
Matesih Academic Year 2013/2014.
