PERENGKAHAN PRODUK CAIR BATUBARA DENGAN KATALIS NI/ZEOLIT
Abstract: This research of
coal tar pyrolysis was carried out using flow method completed by a
thermocouple in reactor.The temperature of reactor was constant at 450oC –
700oC for thermal reaction, and 350oC – 600oC for cathalytic reaction. The
weight of catalys and flow rate of H2 were constant.The experiment result
showed that at higher temperature of thermal pyrolysis reaction produced more
gas, but using Ni/Zeolyt catalys prodused more coke. Conversion by the
Ni/Zeolyt at themperature below 550oC was greater than thermal reaction.
Cataltytic result was greater at themperature 600oC with compoune phenol.
