PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STUDENT TEAMS ACHIEVEMENT DIVISION
Abstract: The study was
condected by lacking of student’s activity in mathematics in SMP Negeri 12
Padang. Learning process show that only some of students give their attention
to teacher. This is caused low of students achievement. One of way that can
increase student’s achievement is by implementing cooperative learning model
type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Based on the data of final test
analysis after implementing cooperative learning model type STAD, the average
of final test for experiment class is 80,81 and for control class is 70,24.
Seem on percentage of student’s pasising in experiment class, the students who
achieve minimal criteria passing (KKM) is 75,67% and in control class is
48,65%. According to the result of analysis can be concluded that student’s
mathematics achievement by implementing cooperative learning model type student
teams achievement division (STAD) is better than student’s mathematics
achievement by implementing conventional learning in students grade VII SMP
Negeri 12 Padang.
