PENERAPAN STRATEGI METAKOGNITIF DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 2 PADANG
Abstract: This action research
concerning the implementation of metacognitive strategy for problem solving in
mathematics. It is based on the fact that the students’ ability in problem
solving still down. It can be found that
the students are difficult to solve the problem in mathematics. Therefore, this
research wants to know the growth of the problem solving ability since the
implementation of metacognitive strategy. The research uses the pre-experiment
and descriptive reseach method. The
result of the research describe that the implementation of metacognitive
strategy can increase the students’ ability of problem solving in mathematics.
