MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR BIOLOGI MELALUI PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL DENGAN MEDIA HERBARIUM DAN INSEKTARIUM
Abstract: This Class-Action
Research is intended to develop students activities inlearning Biology under
Contextual approach. This research is conduted on the studentsof seventh grade
class E State Junior High School 1 Wungu, Madiun Regency. Thesubjects of the
research were 33 students of that class. The parameters determined in
thisresearch are students activity and achievement. The analysis result showed
that thestudents activity is good by 77,05% in cycle I, and very good by 80,38%
in cycle II. Thethresh hold level is 81,8% in cycle I and 93,3% in cycle II.
The contextual approachapplied by media herbarium and insectarium is
analitically proven to be effective indeveloping students learning activity and
achievement.
