PERKEMBANGAN AGAMA ISLAM DI DESA WONOKERTO KECAMATAN SUKAPURA KABUPATEN PROBOLINGGO TAHUN 1983-2012
ABSTRACT: Wonokerto is a
Village Tengger Moslim that the majority of resident. This study aimed to
determine the development of islam in the Wonokerto village years 1983-2012,
using the historyof method, religion sociology approaches, and acculturation
theory. The results showed that the religion of Islam in the village began to
growed Wonokerto since 1983 were characterized by the establishment of
Al-Hidayah mosque in the Krajan. The development of Islam in the village
Wonokerto not be separated from the work done by officials structural as
village head, village secretary, and religious leaders.
