Hubungan Body Image dan Kepercayaan Diri dengan Perilaku Konsumtif Pada Remaja Putri di SMA Negeri 5 Samarinda

Abstract: This  study  aims  to  determine  the  relationship  between  body  image  and self-confidence  with  the  consumer  behavior  in  adolescent  girls  in  SMA  5 Samarinda.  The  sample  of  this  study  are  young  women  who  attend  school  in SMAN  5  Samarinda,  amounting  to  87  students.  The  file  was  collected  by  the scale Body Image, Confidence scale and the scale of Consumer Behavior. This research is a quantitative study using path analysis techniques. The  results  of  this  study  indicate  that  there  is  a  significant  relationship between  body  image  and  self-confidence  with  the  consumer  behavior  in adolescent  girls  in  SMA  5  Samarinda  with  F  =  5356  R2  =  0.113  and  p  = 0.006,  which  means  the  research  hypothesis  is  accepted.  The  results  of subsequent studies show that there was a significant relationship between body image  and  self-confidence  with  beta  =  0.830  t =  13  699  and  p =  0.000, then the results of subsequent studies showed that there is a negative and significant relationship between body image and consumer behavior with beta = -0457 t = -2484 and p = 0.015, and the subsequent results showed that there is a positive relationship  between  self-confidence  with  the  consumer  behavior  with  beta  = 0598 t = 3251 and p = 0.002
