PENGETAHUAN, ASUPAN, STATUS GIZI SISWA DAN MANAJEMEN PENYELENGGARAAN MAKANAN DI SMA NEGERI 2 TINGGIMONCONG KABUPATEN GOWA PROVINSI SULAWESI SELATAN

Abstract: Implementation of school meals is one alternative that can be done to overcome the problems associated with food at school-age children. This study aimed to determine how the knowledge, intake, nutritional status, and the management of food at Tinggi moncong’s SMAN 2. Type of researches were descriptive and qualitative survey. Survey conducted qualitative in-depth interviews to determine the management of the food. Samples totaling were 97 people, drawn by simple random sampling. The data was collected primary data collection in the form of a questionnaire concerning the knowledge, intake, and the management of food, as well as secondary data  from a general school and the number of students  of  class  X-XI  were  analyzed  by  univariate.  The  results  showed  that  the  nutritional  status  (BMI  for  age)  of respondents  categorized  as  normal  /  good  (89.7%),  and  nutritional  status  of  very  thin  (1.0%).  Respondents  with amounted  to  sufficient  intake  of  energy  71.1%,  higher  intake  of  protein  92.8%,  enough  intake  of  fat  55.7%,  and adequate  intake  of  KH  91.8%.  For  quality  appearance  and  taste  of  the  food  were  good.  For  the  satisfaction  of  the student, most students are satisfied only on the lunch menu, while for the taste, satisfied students only to the smell of food. The cost analysis did not correspond to the calculation of the cost analysis conducted by researchers. However, the nutritional value of food is in compliance with the existing standard rates.
