HUBUNGAN POLA ASUH MAKAN OLEH IBU BUKAN PEKERJA DENGAN STATUS GIZI BADUTA DI KECAMATAN TONGKUNO SELATAN KABUPATEN MUNA
Abstract: High malnutrition in
children under two years can be assumed
to not good of the consumption patterns and similarly the
breastfeeding among infants.
This study aimed
to determine the
correlation between the dietary
pattern by not
working mother with
the nutrition status
of children under
two years in
South Tongkuno district, Muna regency. The type of the research was
cross sectional study. The samples were 61 not
working mother who
have the children,
collected by purposive
sampling method. The
data of mother and child characteristics, pattern of
breastfeeding and complementary feeding, collected by interview using questionnaire,
and children 0-24 moths food matrics. Nutritional status was measured
using measurements of height, weight,
expressed as z-score based on body length (z-score BB/PB). The data were analyzed
by chi-square. The result test showed there was no correlation between the type
of food and the frequency of eating
with nutritional status
based on index
BB/U, TB/U, or
BB/TB respectively p
= 0,342, 0,133,
and 0,204. Similarly with the first time of breastfeeding and
complementary feeding. it is recommended to the mothers to take the dietary
pattern well, and the public health center conduct the education on issues
related continuously.
