HUBUNGAN ANTARA KADAR HEMOGLOBIN, KADAR ALBUMIN, KADAR KREATININ DAN STATUS PEMBAYARAN DENGAN KEMATIAN PASIEN GAGAL GINJAL KRONIK DI RSUD DR. MOEWARDI SURAKARTA

Abstract: The prevalence of Chronic Kidney Disease has been increasing nowadays. It is estimated there are approximately 40-60 cases in a million of population in Indonesia every year. This study aimed to analyze the correlation among level of hemoglobin, albumin, creatinine, payment status and mortality of chronic renal failure patients at RSUD Dr.Moewardi. The method used in this research was observational analytic study with case control design. The population in this study were patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis at the Hospital Dr. Moewardi in January 2009-December 2011. Sampling technique used for choosing the case group was consecutive sampling technique and for the control group was matching technique with the total of 50 people for each. Statistical tests used in this research was independent t-test for hemoglobin and creatinine variables, and the chi-square test for albumin and payment status variables. This research showed that there was a difference in the level of creatinine (p= 0.05), between chronic renal failure patients who died and lived during the study. Furthermore, there was not any difference in the average level of hemoglobin (p= 0.399) between chronic renal failure patients who died and lived during the study. There was not any correlation among level of albumin (p= 0.398), payment status (General and Health Insurance status p= 0.835 and Jamkesmas and Health Insurance status p= 0.682) and death of patients with chronic renal failure at RSUD Dr.Moewardi.
