FUNDAMENTAL PERUSAHAAN DAN KINERJA OPERASI PERUSAHAAN YANG MELAKUKAN PENAWARAN UMUM PERDANA
Abstract: There are
differences of company’s motivation in order to issue their securities in
capital market. They have to inform publicly their corporate announcement,
including financial report as a way of public surveillance. Company with good
fundamental position will get good quality in initial public offering (IPO), as
well. Moreover, the quality of IPO will
influence operation performance of company which issues securities.
This paper will briefly stress the performance of companies which issue
initial offering with several measurements. The result shows that companies
which offer initial securities publicly decreasingly in operation performance.
This research gives consistent result in different measurement that the
decreasing condition exists during three years after IPO. To sum up, the funding
raise from IPO is mostly used to increase the production capacity by additional
assets or asset modernization in aims to improve the competitiveness and to pay
their liability, respectively.
