Sensitifitas dan Spesifisitas Petanda Tumor CA 125 sebagai Prediksi Keganasan Ovarium
Abstract: The objective of
this research is to evaluate how far the relationship between CA 125 level as
tumor marker and ovaria malignancy, sensitifity dan specificity are. Setting of
the research is at the Obstetric and Gynecology Department R.D. Kandou
Hospital, Teling Hospital, Pancaran Kasih Hospital, and Kotamobagu Hospital.
All are hospitals in North Sulawesi Province. The research design is observational
study with analytic approach. Subjects are 40 patients with ovarian tumor who
meet the inclusion criteria, hospitalized between February 2004 and May 2004.
From 40 analized samples, 8 (20%) with
elevated CA 125 and were proved histopatologically as ovarian cancer. According
to ROC curve analysis the best cross section is 51,44 U/ml with 100%
sensitivity and 90,6% specificity and 92,5% accuracy. The conclusion of this
research is CA 125 may be used as one of the ovarian malignancy predictors.
