Model Indeks Peroksidatif dan Indeks Protein Teroksidasi Saliva Penderita Tuberkulosis Paru Berdasarkan Lama Pengobatan
Abstract: Mycobacterium tuberculosis
in human may
induce a variety
of responses involving
protective immunity to clinical
manifestation of tuberculosis.
Oxidative mechanism to
infection controlling can happen not only in macrofag but also in
all liquid compartments of the body. The objective of this study is to evaluate
peroxidative index and
Advanced Oxidation Protein
Products (AOPPs) in
tuberculosis patients’ saliva at a treatment period. The tuberculosis
patients were grouped according to the
length of treatment, P0=0-1 months,
P1=1-3 months,, P2=3-5
months, and P3=5-6
months. Peroxidative index and
Advanced Oxidation Protein
Products (AOPPs) at
P0 were very
high but then
they decreased progressively in
P, P2, and
P3. Peroxidative index
and AOPPs are
potential as detectors
of oxidative mechanism in
tuberculosis treatment. The correlation treatment period and peroxidative index
model y=-127,08x3+ 1651, 7x2– 6692,6x + 8571 (R2= 1). The correlation treatment period and AOPPs
model y = -0,0398x + 0, 4479 (R2= 0,8073).
