RUMAH PRODUKTIF: SEBAGAI TEMPAT TINGGAL DAN TEMPAT BEKERJA DI PERMUKIMAN KOMUNITAS PENGRAJIN EMAS (Pola Pemanfaatan Ruang Pada Usaha Rumah Tangga)
Abstract: This study discusses
the productive house, a house that have more functions not only as a place to
live but also place to work or running business for the residents. This study
aims to: a) identify patterns of land use that has UBR/HBE, b) find and explain
the correspondence between the spatial planning and activity needs UBR/HBE also
shelter; c) assess the optimum utilization of space for UBR activities. Giving
shape and pattern of land use in the housee with productive function as a home,
with a standard requirement of optimum space for UBR activities; availability
of space, a good rule of hierarchy of space, organized and directed, organizing
space, organizing time, organizing activities and labor is the core of both of
these activities, that create harmony and balance between domestic
(reproductive) with UBR activities (productive). This study is a qualitative
and quantitative research, using descriptive qualitative method. The final
results of this study is the space utilization of productive space in the house
that functioned as a residence as well as a place of business/work. By build
this household enterprises (UBR/HBE) performed by members of the household
expected to contribute to improve socioeconomic of the families.
