Rancang Bangun Mesin Penggiling Padi Skala Kecil
Abstract: Scheme and making of
small scale rice milling machine, have been done in machine workshop of
polytechnic padang technical examination here in after have done in juli until
february 2006, to know appliance perfomance at various distance interpose
between peeler rubber roll with a few rotation variation. Target of this research
is to yield machine prototype small scale rice milling machine, to know machine
capacities, head rice and rendemen, rice broken and castle rice. Method
performed within this research are manufacturing, prototype and examination of
machine perfomance with perception to kibbling capacities, rendemen, and
yielded rice form that is head rice, rice broken and castle rice, by spacing
gap between peeler rubber rol that is 0,1, 0,3, 0,6, with variation of some
activator motor rotation that is 700,800,900,1000, and 1200 rpm. The result of
examination are capacities at distance interpose 0,1 mm is 120,5 kg / hour,
distance interpose 0,3 mm that is 107,2 kg / hour, and distance intrpose 0,6 mm
that is 80,5 kg / hour. The mean rendemen is 68,76%, 63,55%, 47,74%. And head
rice, rice broken and castle rice from third apart gap of rol the rubber that
is distance interpose 0,1 mm that is 71,28%, 26,1%, 1,6%, and distance
interpose 0,3 mm 82,18%, 15,348%, 0,98%, and distance interpose 0,6 mm that is
94,37%, 4,98%, 0,48%.
