Performansi Sistem Refrigerasi Hibrida Perangkat Pengkondisian Udara Menggunakan Refrigeran Hidrokarbon Subsitusi
Abstract: This research was
conducted to determine the performance of air conditioning device which is modified
into a hybrid refrigeration machines, such as cooling capacity, heating
capacity, power compression, coefficient of performance (COP) and the
performance factor (PF). The study was conducted by comparing data and test
results between hydrocarbon refrigerant HCR22 and halocarbon refrigerant R22.
The results shown the use of hydrocarbon refrigerant mass HCR22 on hybrid vapor
refrigeration machine more efficient 57.78% compared to the use of halocarbon
refrigerant mass R22, because the refrigerant HCR22 have a higher latent heat
than the refrigerant R22. On the use of hydrocarbons HCR22 to halocarbon R22,
the cooling effects increase 18.07% while warming effect decrease 9.3%, because
it occurs at a lower condenser pressure (27.73%). The compressor electric power
consumption using refrigerant HCR22 more efficient 25.04% than using the
refrigerant R22. Performance of a hybrid vapor refrigeration machine
performance increase using Hydrocarbon HCR22: COP increase 57.38%, PF increase
20.7%, and TP increase 35.43%. The cooling rate and heating rate using
halocarbon R22 and hydrocarbons HCR22 tend to the same condition.
