KAJIAN ENERGI SURYA SEBAGAI SUMBER ALTERNATIF PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK DENGAN MEMANFAATKAN KOLEKTOR PELAT DATAR PADA SISTEM SOLAR CHIMNEY
ABSTRACT: Solar energy
collector is one tool to convert solar energy into thermal energy. This energy will
be used to turbines that convert into mechanical energy, which can be used
generators suitable for generating electrical energy. Indonesia located in the
path of the equator is a wealth because we can Utilizing the main source of
energy is solar energy. Long-term goal is the utilization of solar energy
collectors to be one of the alternative systems and overcoming crises to obtain
electrical energy to all areas that can used electrical energy.
This research will produce an alternative system of solar energy
conversion device with a flat plate collector system that can collect solar
energy solar electromagnetic energy throughout the year and who has not been
used directly and no need to wait a thousand years as well as petroleum. In the
early stages of planning will be done by utilizing solar collector properties
contained in the conditions of our daily lives as well as the roof of a building.
This roof will receive or capture heat from solar energy are not yet used.
Existing roof construction which is suitable be used as a solar collector.
Solar energy is converted to an electromagnetic wave-shaped flat plate
collector (heat energy) and then converted into mechanical energy (wind
turbines), so use generators for electricity generation. Flat plate collectors
