ANALISIS KETERSEDIAAN RADIASI MATAHARI DI MAKASSAR
Abstract: This research aims
to analyze the availability of solar radiation in Makassar for the purpose of
solar energy calculation. Six years data collected at IDMP station, which was
located in Hasanuddin University and one-year data, gathered from EnergyPlus
Weather file from Meteonorm have been analyzed. The analysis shows that there
was a big difference between data gathered from IDMP Station and data gathered
from Meteonorm. Except from August to November, most of daily averages solar
radiation data gathered from IDMP station were higher than Meteonorm. The
highest daily average of solar radiation data was occurred in the month of
April and September for IDMP and Meteonorm, respectively. The lowest annual
solar radiation was recorded in 2005 i.e. 1667.16 kWh/m2 and the
highest one in 1997 i.e. 2227.08 kWh/m2.
