UJI SOLID KELAPA SAWIT YANG DIFERMENTASE RAGI TAPE SEBAGAI SUBSTITUSI RANSUM AYAM RAS PEDAGING FASE FINISHER
ABSTRACT: Palm oil sludge
fermented by using Ragi Tape was tested as substituted diet of broiler on
finisher stage. Physical quality and nutrients contents of palm oil sludge are
examined. The palm oil sludge quality data are generated from 20 respondents
and nutrient content was analysis in IPB chemistry laboratory. Moreover, palm oil
sludge fermented is used to substitute broiler chicken diet with 5, 10 and 15 %
level in order to find out feed consumption , average weight gain and feed
eficiency. The experiment design for consumption feed test was completely
randomized design by using 80 broiler chickens in the finisher stage. Those
data were analysis as tabulation and varians analisys . The result show,
physical quality of palm oil sludge is good base on texture, color, smell and
fermentation process criteria. The palm oil sludge fermentation processes
reduce crude fiber and increase protein contents. Feed consumption and average
weight show no significant different between pure commercial ration with pure
commercial ration plus palm oil substituted with 5, 10 and 15 %. However, feed
eficiency on pure commercial ration and commercial feed plus palm oil sludge
fermentation substituted 5 % are higher than 10 and 15 % palm oil substituted
sludge fermentation with 10 and 15 %.
